God is bringing us together!

If you have been following the Doghouse you can't help but see the amazing way that God is directing our paths. He has done things way beyond all that we could ask or imagine! He has once again blessed us abundantly! God has brought a wonderful couple to us that we are working with to take over the daily operations of the Colorado area. They have many years of personal experience training their own service dogs and are active in cattle dog rescue. They are also very active with TBI Freedom in Colorado Springs. They are also a veteran and wounded warrior family as well. It is awesome how God is hand picking the perfect people that He wants aboard this organization. We have not marketed Daffron Doghouse as a Christian ministry but those of you that follow us know that God is the center of everything here at the Doghouse. We give thanks and glory to God in all He is doing in our lives and in the Doghouse. Pray for all to go smoothly in this transition. We are hoping that in the next few months they will be ready to completely take over daily operations in Colorado! What a blessing to release that to capable folks and free ourselves up to grow the organization here in Missouri and Kansas and continue our nationwide outreach.

Miracle Max

By 5:30 am Alli had 7 puppies. At 10:30 she had another which we thought was her last one. I let her out to go potty about 1pm and was taking the birth photos of the pups when I heard her scratching at the front door. When I let her in she had another puppy in her mouth that she had outside and had cleaned off and brought in to me. He was good size but was not breathing really well. It was pretty cold outside so i quickly worked to warm him up. He was not breathing well enough to nurse and I really didn't think he would make it. I prayed over him and did a little Reiki on him. Amanda came home from school about 4pm and also prayed for him and did Reiki on him as well. By that evening he was breathing normally and moving around better. He was still not nursing when we went to bed. When I checked them during the night he was nursing right in with the others and looking much better. After the next day he was completely caught up with the other pups! We have nick named this little guy Miracle Max! He was actually one of the first pups to walk on all fours and sit up steady. Miracle Max is still available if anyone is looking for a very intelligent pup that is a real fighter!

Puppies! Puppies! Puppies!

Dec 12, 2011 was the arrival date of 9 new GSD puppies! Alli and Puma had a beautiful and healthy litter. There are photos up on the FB profile in an album called Alli's christmas Puppies.

We already know that two will be donated to wounded warriors in Colorado awaiting service dogs. One will be trained for Eric and the other for Cindy. Both soldiers are TBI Freedom clients referred to us by their care coordinators. We will be donating a third puppy here in our local community as an outreach here at home.

 The large light sable female is already sold to another soldier in Colorado. Starting price on this litter with full AKC registration is $1200.00 If you are interested in a pup get in touch with us at the Doghouse. These are excellent working line GSD's. Daddy Puma is our mentor pack leader and retired service dog and Grandaddy Zeus is Chucks seizure service dog. Mama Alli is still in service training with Amanda.
